Event on the Bandido 66 and Elegance 68
The weekend of the 5th of June 2010, a yacht trip was part of a golf event organised for the clients of a private bank. Accompanied by summerlike weather - almost 30° degrees - the cruise on the Bandido 66 and the Elegance 68 started at Puerto Portals via Santa Ponsa, Puerto de Andraitx, surrounding the island of Dragonera and ending at the beach of Camp de Mar. The 40 guests had obviously fun and enjoyed a relaxing day on the calm sea. Here you will find some impressions of the two yachts which participated in the event. [Photo gallery]
Whitsuntide and start of the yacht season
Finally with the Whitsuntide the yacht season has begun. This year it started a little bit later than in the years before, but finally temperatures climbed quickly. Due to the fact that everybody wanted to enjoy last weekend's nice weather and the calm sea, it was already impossible to find a parking place in the early morning in the marinas of Puerto Portals or Puerto de Andraitx and most of the moorings were abandoned. Escaping from the bad weather in Germany and the rest of Central Europe must have been one of the reasons for so many people to spend their time off on Whitsun here on the island.
33.000 visitors at the Palma Boat Show
A couple of days ago the boat show in Palma de Mallorca closed its doors and we must admit, that we look back on 9 successful days. In the run-up to the boat show actually nobody expected that the show would attract 33.000 visitors who viewed the various yachts and examined the many water sports items presented during these 9 warm and very sunny days. In our display zone we exhibited the Bandido 66, the Elegance 68 New and the Elegance 76 and our team gave numerous clients, interested people and visitors an insight on the exclusive world of yachts and on this occasion some interesting conversations were held.
